How
Do I Join In?
Visit

Register
as a member
Start
tipping from Round 1 onwards
You
may join at any time across the first 4 rounds (late entry will not
be a disadvantage under the double up format)
Entry
fee is $46 per player
When
logged in follow the steps under the Payment tab to process your
payment, either by Pay Pal or direct bank deposit
Payment
must be finalised by the start of Round 4
Weekly
Selections
or Make
one Double Up selection from the Friday night games (nominate the
winner, then tick the double up option next to your selection)
Once
submitted your
selections can
not be altered
(by anyone, including Admin)
All
selections must be made by the nominated close off time prior to the
first game of the round.
Each
round will be closed and locked off at the nominated close time, and
no additional selections can be accepted for that round
Points
Allocation and Scoring
1
point
is awarded for any correct selection
0
points
are awarded for any incorrect selection
100
bonus points
are awarded (in addition) for correctly picking the round (all
winners), the bonus is available for every round (be it 8 games or
less)
You
may nominate a Draw
as a selection for any game (a draw is still a possible result at
the end of golden point extra time), and if correct will count as a
correct selection (worth 1 point)
In
the event of a drawn result for any game points can only be awarded
for a correct draw selection, all other selections will be treated
as losing selections
Double
Up
option
May
be played at any time (from Round 2 onwards)
Can
only be played on a Friday Night game (unless otherwise stated for a
round)
Can
only be played on one game
To
play the Double Up option make
your selection in one game only
from those available for this round, then tick the double up box for
that game
Must
be played at least 5 times during the season (minimum 5 times)
Can
be played as many times as you wish during the season (no maximum)
A
correct Double Up selection will double your current points score
An
incorrect Double Up selection will result in the loss of all points
and return your score to zero
Golden
Point extra time does count toward the final winner of a game
A
Drawn game result equals no winning result and so all double up
selections will be judged as losing selections
In
the event of there being only one Friday night game, that game shall
be the only double up option, in the event of there being no NRL
Friday night games the double up game shall become the Sunday Ch 9
TV game for that round.
Draw
option Final
Competition Winner The
final winner shall be declared as the person with the most points
following the final home and away round, Round 26
To
qualify as the winner the player must have Doubled Up a minimum of 5
times during the course of the season (there is no maximum double up
limit)
In
the event of a possible tie the winner shall be declared on a count
back based on a) the correct number of double ups; b) (if required
following (a) the number of correct 8 selection rounds; and so
on until finalised.
In
the event of any final ruling being required the competitions admin
managements decision will be final
Entry Competition
entry is open to anyone
Any
person may enter as many times as they wish
Entry
is open during the first 4 rounds of the NRL competition
Late
entry (in weeks / rounds 2, 3 or 4) is fine, and with the double up
format will not disadvantage anyone
Entry
will close at Round 4
Entry
is subject to full payment of the $46 entry fee
Payment
must be received by start of Round 4 for your entry and ongoing rights to be confirmed
Admin
reserves the right to cancel any membership if required
Payment Competition
entry fee is $46 per person
Payment
can be made by Pay Pal including Pay Pal admin fee
Payment
can be made by Direct Bank Deposit
Payment
must be finalised by start of Round 4
(prior
to the commencement of Round 4) Prize
Pool $35
of every entry fee will be paid into the final prize pool
1st
position will be paid 70% of the final prize pool
2nd
position will be paid 20% of the final prize pool
3rd
position will be paid 10% of the final prize pool
The
final top 3 positions will be the only prizes paid
In
the event of a possible tie for any position the winner shall be
declared on a count back based on a) the correct number of double
ups; b) (if required following (a) the number of correct 8 selection
rounds; correct 7 selection rounds and so on until finalised.
In
the event of any final ruling being required the competitions admin
managements decision will be final
